Problems solved by technology

[0009] Chip 23 is also provided with a memory (not visible in the figure), and a group of serial number data is stored in the memory, and the serial number data of each toner cartridge is also unique. Encountered that the serial number data stored on the chip is the same as the serial number data recorded by the laser printer and cannot be used, which brings inconvenience to users

Embodiment Construction

[0028] The consumable container of the present invention can be an ink cartridge installed in an inkjet printer, or a toner cartridge installed in a laser printer. The present invention will be described below using the ink cartridge as an example.

[0029] The ink cartridge of the present invention is detachably installed in an inkjet printer, and is the same as the existing ink cartridge. The ink cartridge of the present invention has a housing that surrounds a cavity for containing ink, and a chip is installed on the outer wall of the housing. The structural block diagram is as follows Figure 4 shown.

[0030] The chip has a substrate 30, on which there are a plurality of electrical contacts 31 that are in contact with the electrical contacts of the inkjet printer, and the electrical contacts 31 are used as communication modules to communicate with the inkjet printer. Of course, in this embodiment, the chip uses the electrical contact 31 as a communication module to perfo...

Abstract

The invention provides a chip, a consumables container and a working method of the chip. The chip comprises a substrate, wherein a communication module and a storage are arranged on the substrate, the storage stores a group of initial sequence number data and at least one group of standby sequence number data and is provided with a bit zone which stores an identification value used for identifying the currently used sequence number; and the storage is also provided with a transformation judging unit used for judging whether the sequence number data transformation condition is met or not and a transforming unit for transforming the identification values. The method comprises the steps of: after electrifying the chip, sending corresponding sequence number data according to the identification values, judging whether the currently used sequence number data is the initial sequence number data according to the identification value, if yes, judging whether the sequence number data transformation condition is met or not by the transformation judging unit, and transforming the identification value by the transforming unit. The invention can effectively avoid the problem that the consumables container can not print because the sequence number stored in the chip is the same with the sequence number stored in a printer, thereby reducing the waste and being beneficial to environment protection.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a chip, in particular to a chip mounted on a printing consumable container, a consumable container equipped with the chip and a working method of the chip. Background technique [0002] As a common office equipment, printers provide great convenience for modern office. Existing printers are divided into inkjet printers and laser printers. Inkjet printers use ink cartridges containing ink as consumable containers to spray ink on paper to form text or patterns that need to be printed on paper; laser printers use ink cartridges containing toner The toner cartridge is used as a consumable container to form text or patterns that need to be printed on the medium. [0003] see figure 1 , The existing ink cartridge has a housing 11, the housing 11 encloses a cavity 15, and the cavity 15 contains ink. An ink outlet 14 is provided below the housing 11 , and the ink in the cavity 15 can flow out through the ink outlet 14 . A chip 13 i...
