The invention relates a diagnostic testing system based on CANoe, comprising an information reading unit, an information analyzing unit and a simulation unit. The information reading unit reads service request messages sent by a diagnostic instrument and service response messages sent by an electronic control unit; the information analyzing unit analyzes content information which corresponds to the request messages and the response messages and displays the content information through a display unit; and the simulation unit simulates the diagnostic instrument to generate service request messages. The invention can examine detailed CAN (Controller Area Network) messages, and enables a tester to understand message transfer between the diagnostic instrument and the electronic control unit in detail. The invention can also record sent and received data for the checking of users and data preparation and analysis of testers. The invention can still carry out diagnostic testing operation if the diagnostic instrument is unavailable and verify the response condition of the electronic control unit to service request messages.
