Embodiment Construction

[0030] figure 1 A perspective view of a refrigeration device 1 is shown, wherein said refrigeration device 1 has an insulated interior 4 defined by a housing 2 and a door 3 . A door 3 is mounted pivotally about a vertical axis by means of hinges (not shown) on the lateral front edge of the housing 2 in a known manner.

[0031] The inner wall 6 of the door 3 towards the inside 4 has a peripheral flat frame 5 supporting a magnetic seal (not shown) which fits tightly against the housing 2 when the door is in the closed position. This frame encloses a large recess whose profile follows the cylindrical convex curvature of the outer surface of the door 3 . A wire frame basket 7 is mounted as a storage unit on the inner wall 6 of the recess, wherein the wire frame basket has the shape of a shallow groove. This wire frame basket 7 comprises a circumferentially closed wire frame 8 , wherein said circumferentially closed wire frame forms the upper outer edge of the wire frame basket 7...

Abstract

A door for a refrigeration device has a moisture-resistant inner wall (6) which covers a moisture-sensitive insulation that fills (14) said door (3). A storage unit (7) is detachably suspended from an opening (12, 12') in the inner wall (6) and a sleeve (15) that is pushed into the opening (12, 12') seals the latter. A retaining bracket (11) of the storage unit (7) is supported against an inner surface of the sleeve (15).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a refrigeration appliance door comprising a storage unit provided on the inner wall of said door. Background technique [0002] Such storage units, often also referred to as door trays, are generally placed on the inner wall of the door, for example by mounting the storage unit on support rails fixed to the inner wall. Such an arrangement requires time and effort during the design and assembly of the refrigeration unit to connect the support rails to the inner wall in a suitable manner and to configure said support rails so that the storage unit has sufficient load capacity. [0003] Optionally, the storage unit is also latched between two wall projections defining the inner door wall on both sides. However, not all refrigeration appliance models have such a wall protrusion, which means that this arrangement is limited. [0004] Another measure for securing the storage unit to the door of the refrigeration unit is disclosed i...
