Abstract

The invention provides an elastic supporting component which is capable of preventing a coil spring from falling off even when the coil spring is broken. An elastic base rubber (4) which is used as the elastic supporting component is disposed at the axial end of the coil spring (5) in a suspension device (100). A flange part (42) is disposed between a spring base (3) and the lower part of the coil spring (5). An inserting part (43) of an inserting hole (43a) is provided and is used for the end part (5a) at the lower side of the coil spring (5) to insert in. an embedding part (44) is provided and is embedded with an installing hole (32) arranged on the spring base (3). The embedding part (44) and the coil spring (5) are precompressed when a vehicle is under the condition of rest, and the part of the embedding part which is at the side opposite to the direction of the elastic force is hung and fixed to the periphery (32a) of the front side of the installing hole (32).
