The screw expanding power generating device comprises a semi-enclosed or totally-enclosed shell, wherein a screw expander and a power generator are arranged in the shell, a rotor of the screw expander is fixedly connected with a rotor of the power generator, the rotor of the screw expander rotates to drive the power generator to generate power, an air suction inlet and an air discharging outlet of the screw expander are arranged on the shell, and airflows which enter the shell from the air suction inlet and are discharged from the air discharging outlet of the screw expander pass through the power generator to cool the power generator. The screw expanding power generating device is semi-enclosed or totally-enclosed, the screw expander and the power generator are arranged in the shell as a whole, and the power generator can be a synchronous power generator or an asynchronous power generator. When the screw expanding power generating device generates power, the situation of leaking refrigeration working media can be avoided.
