Abstract

The method comprises the following steps of: 1) selecting a run-on plate of which the thickness is 2 to 3 times that of the thin plate angle butt joint structure; 2) clearing the surface of the run-on plate, grinding the surface of the run-on plate by using a metal brush to achieve metal luster and wiping by using anti-static vacuum dust removing cloth which is dipped with acetone; 3) making the surface, which is contacted with the angle butt joint structure, of the run-on plate matched with a surface which is contacted with the angle butt joint structure; 4) positioning the run-on plate on the angle butt joint structure and welding and positioning by using manual argon arc welding; and 5) welding by using electron beams. The method has the advantages that: the run-on plate of which the thickness is 2 to 3 times that of the thin plate angle butt joint structure is adopted, so that the thickness of the run-on plate is increased and complete welding is avoided during welding. Enough filling metal is provided, so that a groove is prevented from forming on the root part of the angle back face of the angle butt joint structure and shrinkage proportion is decreased to be lower than 10 percent.
