The method comprises the following steps: first, according to a principle of hierarchical and regional balance of reactive power, rapidly analyzing the reactive power balance by fully using a quantitative relation between reactive power requirements and active power transmissions; then starting solving the critical power flow of the reactive power balance, wherein a m-in-and-n-out transformer substation is equalized to a one-in-and-one-out transformer substation, and then an equation of active power balance and an equation of the reactive power balance are written according to the one-in-and-one-out transformer substation, so as to calculate critical power flows of a incoming line and an outgoing line; and changing main-transformer load or a high-pressure-level injected power flow and solving the series critical power flow, so as to get a curve in which the critical power flow varies according to the main-transformer load (or the high-pressure-level injected power flow), thereby improving applicability of research conclusions.
