The security, the authentication and the authorization of access in an IPv6 network can be ensured, different IPv6 address prefixes are distributed to different terminals, and normal routing is ensured. The processing method of the IPv6 message provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps of: adding access line information or equipment information into the IPv6 message; forwarding the IPv6 message to which the access line information or the equipment information is added; receiving the IPv6 message which carries the access line information or the equipment information so as to obtain the access line information or the equipment information; and searching a corresponding relation according to the access line information or the equipment information so as to perform corresponding operation on the IPv6 message. The method, the equipment and the system are suitable for message processing occasions in the IPv6 network.
