The reverse power control and protection system comprises a reverse power collector, a reverse power monitoring system and a reverse power control system, wherein the reverse power collector is used for collecting the information of a photovoltaic power generation system and the information of a load in real time, and transmitting the information to the monitoring system in real time to be processed; and the reverse power controller is used for receiving the instruction output signal of the monitoring system to control the operation of the photovoltaic power generation system. When the photovoltaic power generation system has reverse current which is transferred into a public supply network, all sub-power generation systems of the photovoltaic power generation system are immediately cut off to be combined to the grid, and the power consumption of the public supply network and the power consumption of the load are collected simultaneously, so that each photovoltaic subsystem intelligently puts into an operation state or a halted state to be automatically matched with the load at the user side.
