Abstract

The present invention relates to a coaxial connector with a switch. An aim of the invention is to configure the terminals in a housing without wastage for realizing low profile and small size. The terminal at one side is simplified without interference to a spring forming area of a terminal at the other side thereby obtaining higher insulativity. An upper part of the housing is composed of a cylinder part which is provided with a pin insertion hole through an insertion mode, and the lower part is composed of a projection which is internally provided with a movable clearance part that is communicated with the pin insertion hole. Terminal pressing-in grooves which extend in a direction that is approximately same with an insertion-extraction direction of a touch pin are formed from two sides of the projection to a movable clearance part. The pressing-in parts for fixing each terminal are pressed in the terminal pressing-in grooves. The movable clearance part is formed larger than the pin insertion hole. One terminal pressing-in groove is formed from one side surface of the housing to a position which is in the movable clearance part and is staggered from the pin insertion hole, and the other terminal pressing-in groove is formed from anther side surface of the housing to a position which is provided in the movable clearance part at the other side of the former terminal pressing-in groove and is staggered from the pin insertion hole.
