Embodiment 1
[0030] This embodiment discloses a method for detecting BSSID conflicts, such as figure 1 As shown, the method includes:
[0031] Step 101, receiving and saving the beaconBeacon frame sent by the VAP corresponding to the surrounding AP, the Beacon frame including the BSSID of the VAP and the timestampTimestamp when sending the Beacon frame;
[0032] Step 102, determining each Beacon frame with the same BSSID in the saved Beacon frame, and obtaining the difference between all non-minimum values and minimum values in the Timestamp of each Beacon frame with the same BSS ID;
[0033] Step 103, when a non-minimum value in the difference value is not divisible by the minimum value in the difference value, determine that there is a BSS ID conflict in the VAP sending the Beacon frame with the same BSS ID.
[0034] In order to realize the above-mentioned method for detecting BSS ID conflicts, the present invention also provides a device for detecting BSS ID conflicts, such as ...
Embodiment 2
[0040] The method for detecting BSS ID conflict provided in this embodiment, such as image 3 As shown, the method includes:
[0041] Step 301, receiving and saving the Beacon frame sent by the VAP corresponding to the surrounding AP, the Beacon frame including the BSS ID of the VAP and the timestamp Times tamp when sending the Beacon frame;
[0042] Specifically, the current AP listens to the Beacon frames sent by the VAPs corresponding to the surrounding APs for a period of time, for example, 5 seconds, and then can receive the Beacon frames sent by the VAPs corresponding to the surrounding APs.
[0043] The Beacon frame includes the BSS ID of the VAP corresponding to the surrounding AP sending the Beacon frame and the Timestamp when sending the Beacon frame. The BSS ID is the identification of a certain VAP corresponding to the AP; the Timestamp can be a field with a length of 8 bytes, and the unit is microseconds. The timing starts when the AP starts up, and each VAP can...

Abstract
The invention discloses a method and a device for detecting a basic service set identify (BSSID) conflict and relates to the technical field of communication. By the invention, a current access point (AP) can detect the BSSID conflict between virtual access points (VAP) corresponding to surrounding APs. The method comprises the following steps of: receiving and storing Beacon frames which are sent by VAPs corresponding to surrounding APs; determining each Beacon frame with the same BSSID among the stored Beacon frames; acquiring the differences between a minimum and all non-minimums in the timestamp of each Beacon frame with the same BSSID; and when a non-minimum in the differences is not divided exactly by the minimum in the differences, determining that the VAP which sends the Beacon frame with the same BSSID has BSSID conflict. The embodiment of the invention is mainly applied to a wirelesslocal area network for detecting the BSSID conflict and can be realized on the AP or a station (STA).
Description
technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a method and device for detecting BSSID conflicts. Background technique [0002] Currently, a group of workstations communicating with each other constitutes a BSS (Basic Service Set, Basic Service Set). There are two types of BSS: independent type and basic structure type. Among them, the workstations in the independent type BSS communicate in pairs, which are generally used in small conferences; the basic structure type BSS realizes the connection between STA (Station, workstation) all communications between. [0003] When STAs in the BSS communicate through APs, the following two types of APs can be used: "fat AP" and "thin AP". Among them, the fat AP device provides a single network name access service, which can connect a large number of widely distributed WLAN users to the wired network. Each AP is an independent network element and manages the user groups...
