Abstract

The method includes: obtaining an Address Resolution Protocol (ARP) request sent from a client; selecting a load balancer node which satisfies a preset load condition from a load balancer cluster, and obtaining the Media Access Control (MAC) address of the load balancer node which satisfies the preset load condition; sending ARP reply information including the MAC address of the load balancer node which satisfies the preset load condition to the client, thus enabling the client, after receiving the ARP reply information, to send service requests to the load balancer node which satisfies the preset load condition for balance processing.
