Abstract

The invention relates to a method for detecting a signal source, applied to a display device. The display device is used for connecting a plurality of signal sources, wherein each signal source comprises at least one first signal source and a plurality of second signal sources. The method comprises the steps of defining a plurality of detection rounds, a round sequence exits between the detectionrounds, and each detection round is used for detecting all the first signal sources and one or more of second signal sources. The method also comprises a signal source detection sequence which is used for detecting the signal sources and is set in each detection round. When a detection driving signal is received, a reference round is acquired from the detection rounds, a reference signal source used for detecting in the reference round is acquired, and the signal source with a signal is searched according to the signal source detection sequence in the reference round.
