Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for transmitting and receiving data. The method for transmitting data comprises the following steps of: respectively compressing data of each antenna of a data transmitting end to obtain the compressed data, and caching the compressed data into different antennae, wherein the compressed data comprises valid data intercepted from corresponding antenna in the compression process and an interception index, and the interception index is used for indicating an interception start bit; reading the compressed data cached in each antenna, converting bit width of the compressed data into a bit width value required by framing, forming a basic frame with the compressed data of which bit width is converted, and transmitting the basic frame. The method provided by the invention compresses the data to be transmitted, and correspondingly decompressed the data at a receiving end, so that link loading rate is improved without using an optical module which supports high data rate, and cost is effectively saved.
