Since not all three radiation sources can be arranged at one location, the beams of radiation sources 200 and 300 are deflected by deflection reflectors 220 and 320 and aligned with beam 110 . The three beams impinge on the first reflector 400 , which is movable. The three radiation beams 110 , 210 and 310 can be deflected onto the projection surface 10 by the movement of the first reflector 400 . An image is thereby produced point-to-point on projection surface 10 by a suitable movement of reflector 400 . This method for projecting images is also referred to as the "flying spot method". In a preferred embodiment, the three radiation sources 100 , 200 and 300 are lasers, whereby the beams 110 , 210 and 310 are laser beams.
