Abstract

A liquid crystal display panel, a color filter and a method for fabricating same. The color filter comprises a transparent substrate (120), a black matrix (125), a first color filtering unit (128), a second color filtering unit (130) and an electrically conductive layer. The first color filtering unit in the active area has the shape of a trapezoid, and the second color filtering unit in the dummy area has the shape of an inverted trapezoid. The portion, of electrically conductive layer, covering the active area is continuous, whereas and the portion, of the electrically conductive layer, covering the dummy area is discontinuous. The active area is normally electrically conductive, whereas the dummy area has an insulating effect.
