Abstract

A housing, which is used for an electronic device, comprises a body. The body comprises a heat dissipation area which is equipped with heat dissipation holes. The housing also comprises a ventilation hood which is fixed on an inner wall of the body and covers the dissipation area. The ventilation hood comprises a shielding portion which is used to shield the heat dissipation holes. Flow-dividing holes, which are communicated with the heat dissipation holes, are arranged on one side of the shielding portion of the ventilation hood. When the housing is applied in the electronic device, airflow can be led from an inside to an outside of the housing through the flow-dividing holes and the heat dissipation holes. Effects of ventilation and heat dissipation can be reached. Because of the shielding of the shielding portion, sizes of the heat dissipation holes can not be made according to existing design standards because of needs of confidentiality and safety. The sizes can be made large so as to enhance heat dissipation ability.
