The invention provides a safety socket, wherein two separated movable arms each provided with an iron core are arranged on the rear face of a panel; one end of each movable arm is connected to a wiring terminal, while the other end thereof is provided with a silver coated contact corresponding to a phase line jack of the socket; and a spring is arranged between each movable arm and the panel. The safety socket further comprises a plug matched with the safety socket in use, wherein magnets corresponding to the iron cores on the movable arms on the rear face of the socket are arranged on the root portion of the insert claw of the plug. The safety socket is used as a household socket or other normal pressure power supply; the plug is inserted into the socket so that the circuit is connected; and after the plug is drawn out of the socket, the jacks on the socket are not charged; no danger may be caused even the jacks are touched. In short, the safety socket is convenient to use, and safe and reliable.
