Abstract

The invention provides a light guide device and a light source module. The light guide device comprises a light guide post. The light guide post has an incident surface, an emergent surface, two connecting surfaces and a bottom surface, wherein the incident surface is positioned on the end part of the light guide post; the emergent surface, the connecting surfaces and the bottom surface are connected to the incident surface respectively; the emergent surface and the bottom surface are positioned on the two opposite sides of each connecting surface, and are opposite to each other to define an emergent direction which points to the emergent surface from the bottom surface; the area of the emergent surface is larger than that of the bottom surface; and the variation trend of the sectional area of the light guide post along the emergent direction comprises gradual increasing, and the sectional area is parallel to the emergent surface or the bottom surface.
