Abstract

The invention provides a method for screening out drought tolerant paddy rice through a dynamic ion flow based on NMT. According to the method, a micro-dynamic ion flow detection technology is utilized to detect the K<+> absorption capability of paddy rice roots, and the K<+> absorption change of seedlings before and after the processing by a PEG6000 solution is detected to screen out the drought tolerant paddy rice. The method allows lossless, rapid and in vivo detection of the drought tolerance of paddy rice to be realized, the detection time to be about 10-15min, the consumed time to be short, the detection accuracy to be high, the contrast difference between static ion flows of drought tolerant seedlings and non-drought tolerant drought seedlings to be obvious, and the evaluation method to be simple and reliable, so a direct and rapid screening tool is provided for the paddy rice drought tolerance breeding and the paddy rice field production.
