Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for remote management of BIOS (basic input / output system) configuration based on UEFI (unified extensible firmware interface). The method includes steps: packaging BIOS configuration data, to be changed, of single nodes into capsule data packets, and sending the capsule data packets to a remote management console; verifying the capsule data packets containing the BIOS configuration data, and updating the current configuration data into the capsule data when the capsule data are not matched with the current configuration data; and restarting the system when the updated data are related to the hardware.
