Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device for controlling videoconferencing equipment, and a videoconferencing system. The videoconferencing equipment comprises a display and a camera which are relatively fixed, consistently face and connected with a motion mechanism. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring face images of conferees recognized from conferencing place images, wherein the conferencing place images are picked up and provided by the camera; analyzing the face images and determining a deflection direction when the condition that the face positions of the conferees are deflected from a direction just facing the display and the camera, is judged by referring to the analytic result; and controlling the motion mechanism to drive the display and the camera to move to a position just facing the face positions of the conferees according to the deflection direction. With the adoption of the embodiment of the invention, various conferencing modes of the conferees are adapted through a manner that the work of the motion mechanism is controlled to move the display and the camera, a horizontal eye-to-eye effect can be guaranteed among the display, the camera and the conferees, and the conferencing place environment is dispensed with being changed.
