Abstract

The invention relates to a sewing machine and an oil tank, where oil leakage from the oil tank can be prevented. The oil tank is fixedly arranged at the bottom pedestal of the sewing machine. The oil tank is divided to two layers of an oil receiving part and an oil accommodating part. The oil receiving part receives oil falling from the column of the sewing machine. The oil accommodating accommodates oil for lubrication. The oil tank includes an external periphery wall, a bottom wall, a first opposite wall and an accommodating hole part. An open part is formed at the external periphery wall. The bottom wall opposite to the open part is arranged at the bottom of the oil tank. The first opposite wall is arranged at the inner side of the periphery wall, and the position between the open part and the bottom wall and separated from the bottom wall. The accommodating hole part is arranged at the first opposite wall.
