Abstract

The invention relates to a flue gas desulfurization system which is used for removing sulfur dioxide in the flue gas and comprises a low-temperature plasma device, an alkali liquor contact chamber and a calcium source contact chamber, wherein the low-temperature plasma device is used for oxidizing sulfur dioxide in the flue gas into sulfur trioxide; the alkali liquor contact chamber is communicated with the low-temperature plasma device through a pipeline and used for reacting sulfur trioxide generated by the low-temperature plasma device with the alkali liquor to generate solution containing SO4<2->; and the calcium source contact chamber is communicated with the alkali liquor contact chamber through a pipeline and used for reacting the solution containing SO4<2-> with a calcium source to generate calcium sulfate and recycling alkali liquor, and the calcium source refers to calcium oxide, calcium hydroxide or calcium hydroxide solution.
