Problems solved by technology

However, there are certain gaps in the various existing solutions for generating sounds in the virtual world
For example, the technical solution of the US patent application publication US2007 / 0196801 does not consider the influence of the sound material of the object on the sound simulation, so the sound in the virtual world cannot be generated more realistically
The technical solution of US Patent Application Publication US 2010 / 0197401 is based on the collected fixed sound, which cannot realize real-time sound generation

Abstract

The invention discloses a method, a device and a sound card for generating sounds in a virtual world. The method comprises the following steps of: determining an elastic model of an object according to a 3D (Three-Dimensional) model of the object in the virtual world; analyzing the force component generated on the 3D model due to the collision in the virtual world; and generating the sounds generated by the collision according to the elastic model and the force component. According to the method, the device and the sound card, disclosed by the invention, the sound quality of the object in the virtual world is considered, and thus the sounds in the virtual world can be more realistically generated in real time.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present invention relate to virtual worlds, and in particular to methods, devices and sound cards for generating sounds in virtual worlds. Background technique [0002] In the field of virtual worlds, there are currently various methods of simulating sound based on collisions. For example, the technical solution of US Patent Application Publication US 2007 / 0196801 can calculate and generate sound waves according to physical motion collisions between objects, and then perform synthesis of multiple sound waves to generate the sound generated by the collision. For example, the technical solution of US Patent Application Publication US 2010 / 0197401 describes that sounds are collected at multiple points in a 3D scene, and sound sources are calculated in real time based on several collected sounds during the 3D scene simulation process. For example, the technical solution disclosed in U.S. Patent U.S. 7,330,769 describes a set of preset s...
