The sheathing materials for cables comprise the compositions of 100 parts of chlorinated polyethylene, 10-40 parts of a plasticizer, 50-100 parts of a reinforcing agent, 2.5-4 parts of a cross-linking agent, 1-3 parts of an auxiliary crosslinking agent, 2-4 parts of an anti-aging agent, 10-30 parts of a fire retardant, and 10-20 parts of an active agent.
