The invention discloses a digital television personalized program selecting and sorting method which comprises the following steps: realizing bidirectional area broadcasting at a broadcasting end and a user end by utilizing a bidirectional IP (Internet Protocol) channel, identifying regional grouping of a user by an ID (Identification) number of a BAT (Bouquet Association Table), i.e. bouquet_id in an intelligent card; arranging a channel list configuration server at the broadcasting end for generating and transmitting a channel configuration list; reading the bouquet_id in the intelligent card through a set top box at the user end, receiving the channel configuration list equivalent with the bouquet_id in value through a channel list document in the bidirectional network visit channel list configuration server if the bouquet_id is larger than a set feature value and processing channel search according to the configuration list; and editing the serial numbers of all channels again by utilizing the received channel configuration list at the user end or adding television programs with own contents.
