Abstract

The invention provides an uplink cooperative MAC (media access control) protocol for optimizing energy efficiency of a system. An energy consumption model of the system is established through an information source and the number of candidate cooperative station points, the responsive probabilities of cooperation requests of all the candidate cooperative station points are configured by utilizing an optimization theory, and the energy efficiency of an uplink of a traditional single-relay cooperation system is improved. The protocol performs channel access by adopting a competition-based multi-address way and realizes the establishment of cooperative transmission by using request-to-send (RTS) of the information source, clear-to-send (HTS) of the cooperative station points and the clear-to-send (CTS) of an information sink to perform handshaking. The invention provides a compound type cooperative station point selection method, i.e. on the basis of selection of the cooperative station points by the information source, the cooperative station points can judge whether to participate in cooperation or not according to the responsive probabilities of the cooperation requests, and the energy efficiency of the system can be optimized by relieving the energy consumption of the cooperative station points in a traditional cooperation mode.
