The bibliographic names correspond to the English letters on the keyboard, the bone rubbing serial numbers correspond to the Arabic numerals on the keyboard, and the candidate character numbers correspond to the Arabic numerals on the keyboard, resulting in the code sequences in the form of (bibliographic name)(bone rubbing serial number)(hyphen key)(candidate character number). The input method satisfies the need for publish, study, explanation, dating and other academic researches of oracle-bone inscriptions and also satisfies the need for less-experienced common users who input oracle-bone inscriptions.
