Abstract

The invention discloses a sound effect switching method which is used for automatically switching the sound effect of a sound system with a subwoofer according to the accessing state of the subwoofer. The method comprises the following steps of: detecting the accessing state of the subwoofer; outputting audio frequencies by using a woof sound channel if the subwoofer is accessed; and outputting the audio frequencies by using an ordinary sound channel if the subwoofer is not accessed. The invention further discloses a sound system applying the method; and the sound system comprises a micro processor unit, an ordinary speaker and a subwoofer, wherein the ordinary speaker is connected to the micro processor unit through an ordinary sound channel, the subwoofer is connected to the micro processor unit through a woof sound channel, and the micro processor unit is used for controlling whether to output low-frequency audio signals to the subwoofer through detecting whether the subwoofer is accessed to the sound system or not. According to the method and the system, the audio output of the sound channels can be automatically adjusted according to the accessing state of the subwoofer, and the additional operation by users is not required, so that the method and the system are very convenient.
