The invention provides a web application interface dynamic adapting method for a heterogeneous terminal, and the method comprises following steps of adopting a browser to load a Web application interface for rendering; acquiring a document object model (DOM) tree of the rendered Web application interface at a running moment; segmenting the web application interface into a plurality of sub-interfaces adapting to the current screen according to types and size information of all subtrees in the DOM tree; monitoring the variation of the DOM tree, and re-segmenting the varied interface into sub-interfaces adapting to the current screen; and displaying the sub-interfaces after being segmented in the current screen. Due to adopting the method, the interface structure and representation at the running moment can be objectively reflected, so that a Web interface which is designed for a large-sized screen device such as a personal computer (PC) can be displayed through an appropriate way on a small-sized screen device.
