Abstract

The invention discloses a computing task and virtual machine deploying method within a virtual data center, which aims to optimize the QoS (Quality of Service) demand of a computing task and to improve the resource utilization rate of the data center on the basis that the service capabilities provided by a physical resource and a virtual resource appropriately surpass the actually provided service capabilities at certain proportion. The computing task and virtual machine deploying method comprises three stages: dividing the computing task into isomorphic computing tasks; modeling a virtual resource request of the isomorphic computing tasks, and deploying virtual machines based on needs; and modeling according to the physical resource requests of the virtual machines required to be deployed in the above step, and turning on a physical host according to needs. The computing task and virtual machine deploying method is applicable for computing tasks with different features and is suitable for different types of data center scenarios, and a reasonable critical value of resource service capability deflection proportion exists between the satisfaction of the QoS demand and the improvement of the resource utilization ratio.
