Abstract

The invention discloses a key module applicable to a handheld electronic device. The handheld electronic device comprises a case, a screen and a switch, wherein the screen is fixed on the case and the switch is fixed in the case. The key module comprises a moving part, a hook part and a stopper. The moving part movably disposed on the case is used to touch the switch and is directly adjacent to a bared edge of the screen. The hook part is fixedly connected to the moving part. The stopper adaptably fixed in the case is located on a motion path of the hook part and is used to limit motion of the moving part relative to the case. The moving part is provided with an exposed area. The hook part is provided with a contact area in contact with the stopper. Orthographic projection of the contact area on a geometric plane of the screen overlaps with that of the exposed area on the geometric plane.
