The method for frequency correction includes determining frequency dividing ratio according to frequency of a target frequency signal and expectation frequency of a reference frequency signal, determining correction value and correction remainder of the frequency dividing ratio according to the actual frequency of the reference frequency signal and the frequency discursion of the expectation frequency, utilizing the correction value to correct the frequency dividing ratio to obtain a corrected frequency dividing ratio, determining a remainder compensation value based on the correction remainder and period of the preset adjusting frequency signal, conducting frequency dividing on actual frequency of the reference frequency signal according to the corrected frequency dividing ratio and utilizing the remainder compensation value and the preset adjusting frequency signal to compensate the frequency dividing to obtain a target frequency signal.
