The backlight module comprises the frame and a light source module disposed in the frame. The positioning device comprises a positioning portion and a cantilever portion. The positioning portion has a connecting portion connected with the outer side surface. The cantilever portion extends toward the far sidewalls from the positioning portion and extends perpendicular to the outer side surface. The invention also provides a method of manufacturing the display device.
