Abstract

The invention provides a digital jet printing device and a control method. The device comprises a plurality of rows of nozzles which are arranged in a stagger mode and a controller. The controller comprises a data splitting module, a selection module and a jet printing module, wherein the data splitting module is used for splitting data of an image into a plurality of pieces, and the number of the pieces is equal to the ratio of the resolution of the image to the resolution of each nozzle; the selection module is used for selecting nozzle rows of the pieces at equal intervals in the plurality of rows of nozzles which are arranged in the stagger mode; and the jet printing module is used for controlling each selected nozzle row to print one piece of data. By means of the digital jet printing device and the control method, through jet printing of the plurality of nozzles under the control of the controller, the resolution of a jet-printed image exceeds the resolution of a jet-printed image by a single nozzle, and the jet printing quality is improved.
