The method comprises the following steps of generating a plurality of labels of a first video in a first video-related text; searching a reverse index table which corresponds to a label of the first video, wherein the reverse index table comprises a number of a first video-related video; computing the relevancy between the first video and the video which corresponds to each number in the reverse index table; sequencing the video which corresponds to each number in the reverse index table according to the sequence of the relevancy in descending order; and selecting some or all sequenced videos to generate a first video-related video list. The problem of low searching efficiency since a video recommending system can not search the video-related video in a mass of the videos in the prior art can be solved, so that the searching efficiency of the video-related video can be improved, and the video-related video list can be more quickly provided to users.
