An embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for processing tasks of a heterogeneous system. The method includes: receiving a calculation task; selecting target calculation equipment from calculation equipment in the heterogeneous system on the basis of a preset scheduling rule according to task information of the calculation task and equipment information of at least one of the calculation equipment in the heterogeneous system; distributing the calculation task to the target calculation equipment for calculation, and receiving returned calculation results; wherein, the heterogeneous system comprises at least two types of the calculation equipment. The target calculation equipment is selected according to the task information, the equipment information and the preset scheduling rule, and reasonable utilization of the calculation equipment in the heterogeneous system is realized.
