Abstract

The seedling substrate overcomes the disadvantages of low content of nutrient elements, unbalanced content of nitrogen phosphorus and potassium and insufficient supply of the common earthworm cast in the market. The experiment proves that the root activity, the strong seedling index, the dry and fresh weight of the plant and the output after the field planting of the plant cucumber seedling raised by the seedling substrate are obviously better than the traditional turf and vermiculite compound substrate which is watered with the nutrient solution.
