The adopted method comprises the following steps that CAN bus application protocols in an application layer which is not defined in detail by a CAN bus protocol are defined, and comprise a CAN bus safety communication framework structure, a CAN bus safety communication data structure, a CAN bus data encryption method and CAN bus communication authentication flow definition. The CAN bus safety communication method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the application protocols are defined in the application layer which is not defined in detail by the CAN bus protocol and comprise a message structure, a data encryption algorithm, an authentication time sequence and an interaction time sequence; and a data link layer CAN data frame is defined to realize priority definition of data and realize rapid, real-time and safe data communication.
