Problems solved by technology

[0005] However, in the process of realizing the present invention, the inventors of the present invention have found that there are at least the following problems in the prior art: due to the limitations of the CT system itself, the actual current value of the X-ray tube cannot reach the set current expectation value, such as figure 1 As shown, ultimately it is not really possible to produce diagnostically valuable images using the minimum radiation dose

Embodiment 1

[0075] see figure 2 , which is a flowchart of a current modulation method in a computed tomography imaging system disclosed in Embodiment 1 of the present invention, the method includes the following steps:

[0076] Step 201: selecting discrete data points on the desired current modulation curve as approximation points;

[0077] The "desired current modulation curve" is an ideal current modulation curve obtained according to any prior art. In fact, the desired current modulation curve is composed of a group of discrete data points. All discrete data points can be selected as approximation points, or some data points can be selected from all discrete data points as approximation points. For example, suppose that the expected current modulation curve consists of 1000 discrete data points, and 500 data points are selected as the approximation points, and the expected current value of the curve g(t) at the 500 approximation points is d i , i=1, . . . N, N=500.

[0078] It shou...

Embodiment 2

[0107] In some special use cases, more attention is often paid to whether the actual current value of the X-ray tube reaches the set current expectation value at some specific approach points (ie, specific positions). For example, in order to obtain better image quality, it is necessary to focus on whether the actual current value reaches the expected current value at the peak point; another example, in order to reduce the scanning dose and avoid damage to the human body, it is necessary to focus on the actual current value at the valley point whether the expected value of current is reached.

[0108] The difference between this embodiment and the first embodiment is that an approximation factor is set for the actual current value, and the approximation degree between the actual current value and the expected current value is also different if the approximation factor is different. see image 3 , which is a flowchart of a current modulation method in a computed tomography ima...

Embodiment 4

[0149] Corresponding to the above-mentioned current modulation method in a computed tomography imaging system, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a current modulation device in a computed tomography imaging system. see Figure 5 , which is a structural diagram of a current modulation device in a computed tomography imaging system disclosed in Embodiment 4 of the present invention, the device includes: an approach point selection module 501 , an actual current modulation curve establishment module 502 and a current modulation module 503 . The internal structure and connection relationship of the device will be further introduced below in conjunction with the working principle of the device.

[0150] Approximation point selection module 501, for selecting a plurality of sampling points on the desired current modulation curve as the approximation point;

[0151] An actual current modulation curve establishing module 502, configured to establish an actual cur...

Abstract

An embodiment of the invention discloses a method and a device for modulating current in a computer tomography imaging system. The method includes: selecting multiple sampling points from an expected current modulation curve to serve as approximate points; building an actual current modulation curve; modulating current of X-ray tubes of the computer tomography imaging system according to the actual current modulation curve; wherein actual current, at the approximate points, in the actual current modulation curve approximates the expected current in the expected current modulation curve. By the embodiment, images with diagnosing values can be truly generated by using the minimum amount of radiation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of medical imaging, in particular to a current modulation method and device in a computed tomography imaging system. Background technique [0002] Computed Tomography imaging (CT, Computed Tomography) system uses a precisely collimated X-ray source and a highly sensitive detector to perform a series of cross-sectional scans around a certain part of the human body, and is received by the detector during each scan. After the attenuated X-ray beam passes through the human body, the analog quantity is converted into digital quantity by the analog / digital converter, and then input into the electronic computer, and the high-speed calculation of the electronic computer obtains the X-ray absorption coefficient value of each point of the layer. The data constitutes a matrix of images. Then, different data are displayed in different gray scales through the image display, so that the anatomical structure of the sectio...
