An emergency power control strategy for a wind power plant in a fault state comprises the steps as follows: power predicted in short terms of all fans is collected in real time, a scheduling instruction is received, and an upper limit value of the power of the wind power plant is acquired; data like wind power plant controllable fans, wind power plant uncontrollable fans and removal fans are recorded when faults of the wind power plant occur; power which can be distributed by the wind power plant and active power required to be sent by the wind power plant are calculated; the power which can be distributed by the wind power plant is compared with the active power required to be sent by the wind power plant, and power distribution is performed; and system errors are removed, and the wind power plant operates in a normal power control manner. Aiming at influences caused due to the fact that crowbar protection of a double-fed asynchronous wind generation set rotor at the present, a novel control method is provided, so that the wind power plant realizes wind power plant transfer in emergency, dependence on power of an invested crowbar fan is reduced, the output power of a normal fan is increased, and the stability of the output power of the wind power plant is improved.
