Problems solved by technology

However, if the keep-alive method in the IMS standard is used, the expected effect cannot be achieved.
At the same time, because SIP messages usually carry a packet body, the message is relatively large, and the message passes through many nodes, so the efficiency of the keep-alive mechanism is not ideal

Abstract

The invention discloses a user keep-alive mechanism in an IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem)) network optimized by an HTTP (Hyper Text Transport Protocol) message. The user keep-alive mechanism is used for keep-alive between a user in an IMS system and an application server. By adopting the keep-alive scheme, the application server can learn the state of a terminal user in time so as to provide accurate application services in the IMS network for the user. The IMS network communication and a keep-alive SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) signaling need to penetrate through a series of equipment of SBC (Session Border Controller), PCSCF (Proxy Call Session Control Function), ICSCF (Interrogating Call Session Control Function) and SCSCF (Serving Call Session Control Function) and are required to be subjected to be information processing when passing through each equipment, so that no sufficient information can be provided when an SIP message transmitted by the terminal reaches the application server and the application server cannot accurately learn the current terminal state. Therefore, according to the user keep-alive mechanism disclosed by the invention, direct contact between the terminal and the application server is established by the HTTP message and is used as supplement for the IMS communication system; the accurate control of the application over the terminal is realized by combining the direct contact with the keep-alive mode of the IMS communication system.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the communication field, in particular to optimizing the user keep-alive mechanism in the IMS network through the HTTP message. Background technique [0002] SIP is an application layer signaling control protocol. A session used to create, modify and release one or more participants. These sessions can be Internet multimedia conferencing, IP telephony or multimedia distribution. Participants in a session can communicate via multicast, mesh unicast, or a mixture of the two. The signaling control part of the IMS network is implemented based on the SIP protocol. However, when the SIP message passes through the IMS network, it needs to be parsed and processed by a series of devices such as SBC, PCSCF, ICSCF, and SCSCF. Therefore, when the SIP message sent by the terminal reaches the application server, it often cannot meet the expected requirements. [0003] If a system is built, which is deployed on mobile terminals and applic...
