The refining method is characterized by comprising the following steps: dissolving a gimeracil crude product by aqueous alkali, adding active carbon and a polar solvent for decoloring and removing impurities; filtering out the active carbon, regulating the pH value to 6.0-8.0 by inorganic acid, and stirring until the crystals are completely separated out; and filtering, washing and drying the crystals to obtain the gimeracil.
