Abstract

The body of the ultrasonic amplitude transformer is a rectangular hexahedron (1), the upper surface of the rectangular hexahedron (1) is a radiating surface (2), and a plurality of evenly-distributed vertical cylindrical through holes (5) which are equal in diameter are formed in the rectangular hexahedron (1). The ultrasonic vibration characteristics of the rectangular hexahedron are changed and controlled through the vertical cylindrical through holes which are evenly distributed in the rectangular hexahedron, so that the supersonic vibration, inputted through an ultrasonic transducer and an ultrasonic horn, in the horizontal direction is transformed to the supersonic vibration in the vertical direction, and the vertical directional amplitudes which are uniform in size are obtained in the center area of the radiating surface of the rectangular hexahedron; therefore the multi-hole rectangular hexahedral ultrasonic amplitude transformer is beneficial to loading platy workpieces with any shapes and any sizes for achieving auxiliary ultrasonic vibration in the vertical direction.
