When abnormity of a mechanical device is diagnosed according to vibration values collected by a vibration sensor on the mechanical device, difference of each characteristic quantity, that is, a learning value characteristic quantity difference value is calculated according to a first learning vibration value of a first operating status collected by a vibration sensor when learning, and a second learning vibration value of a second operating status collected by the vibration sensor when learning, the second operating status being different with the first operating status. Difference of each characteristic quantity, that is, diagnosis value characteristic quantity difference value is calculated according to a first learning vibration value of a first operating status collected by a vibration sensor when diagnosing, and a second learning vibration value of a second operating status collected by the vibration sensor when diagnosing.
