Abstract

The invention discloses a composite material pole tower reinforcement device which comprises a first sectional material and a second sectional material, wherein a right-angle section of a composite sectional material are coated with the first sectional material, and the cross section of the first sectional material is L-shaped; an arc-shaped section of the composite sectional material is coated with the second sectional material, and the cross section of the second sectional material is arc-shaped; and the first sectional material and the second sectional material are connected through a fastener. An installation method comprises the steps as follows: a reinforcement device with a proper length is taken; inner surfaces of the first sectional material and the second sectional material are coated with resin glue uniformly and are bonded with the right-angle section and the arc-shaped section at the middle part of the composite sectional material which is required to be reinforced; and after the resin glue is solidified, the first sectional material and the second sectional material are tied together through the fastener. The composite material pole tower reinforcement device and the method have the benefits as follows: weak rod pieces in the composite material pole tower can be reinforced by using the reinforcement device, so that cracks caused by stress concentration or too large deformation are prevented from occurring and expanding; and the rod pieces can be prevented from larger deformation, so that the bearing capacity of the composite material pole tower is improved, and the capacity of the pole tower for resisting natural hazards is enhanced.
