Abstract

The present invention provides a signal transmission device, comprising: a signal processing circuit for processing an input signal according to a compensation signal to generate a processed input signal; a signal conversion circuit for converting the processed input signal according to an oscillating signal to generate an output signal; and an arithmetic circuit for generating the compensation signal according to the power of a predetermined component in the output signal; wherein the signal processing circuit uses the compensation signal to update the input signal, and the signal conversion circuit converts the updated input signal to reduce the power of predetermined components in the output signal. The invention also provides a signal transmission method. The present invention mitigates performance degradation caused by non-linearity and harmonic distortion of radio frequency transmitters.
