Abstract

The invention discloses a method for preventing cracks of a marine diesel engine cylinder sleeve casting. Annular reinforcing rib cavities are arranged at the periphery of the bottom of an inner hole mud core for diesel engine cylinder sleeve casting, and a cylinder sleeve casting blank is poured, wherein an inner hole of a technological dead head part is provided with annular reinforcing ribs. The method comprises the following particular steps: 1) manufacturing a wooden mold of the annular reinforcing ribs, and placing the wooden mold of the annular reinforcing ribs into a wooden mold of the inner hole mud core; 2) shaping the inner hole mud core in a combined wooden mold once, wherein the annular reinforcing cavities are formed in the periphery of the bottom of the inner hole mud core; 3) taking out the inner hole mud core from the wooden mold, and coating with paint; 4) carrying out box allocating operation after the inner hole mud core is dried and condensed; and 5) pouring, thereby obtaining the cylinder sleeve casting blanking, wherein the inner hole of the technological dead head part is provided with the annular reinforcing ribs.
