The invention provides a man-machine interactive system and method. The man-machine interactive system comprises image obtaining equipment, man-machine interactive processing equipment and display equipment, wherein the image obtaining equipment is used for obtaining image data; the man-machine interactive processing equipment is used for determining interactive operation which users want to conduct according to multiple types of actions and gestures, detected in the image data, of the users; the display equipment is used for displaying a display screen corresponding to results of the interactive operation. According to the man-machine interactive system and method, the man-machine interactive operation can be conducted by combining multiple movement detecting modes, and therefore under the situation that an additional input device is not needed, ambiguity of man-machine interactive operation recognition is reduced, and accuracy of the man-machine interactive operation is improved.
